1964 Chevrolet Nova 400
Unrestored 1964 Chevrolet Nova 400 survivor car with only 19,XXX actual documented miles from new. Good PA State Inspection.
Still retaining almost 90% of its factory-applied code 922 Ember Red paint and its totally original code 791 Red Standard interior.
This is a super cool survivor car that is largely unrestored except for the two front fenders being repainted in the 80's and the engine being repainted at the same time. Other than that, the paint, chrome, trim, underneath, trunk and interior are exactly as they left the Norwood, OH assembly plant over 55 years ago! Sold new at Nick Chevrolet (we have original window sticker and service receipts) in Tarentum, PA, to a lady who used it sparingly for its first 15+ years then sold to a man in Pittsburgh who owned it over 35 years.
Equipped with the 283 V8 motor, Powerglide, tinted windshield, Undercoating, and radio with rear speaker.
We decoded the trim tag and the VIN number and everything is perfect.
The car runs and drives excellent and has just had a tune-up and all of its fluids checked. All of the lights work. Horn works. All gauges work. Even the radio works!
Again this is an unrestored car so the paint is over 50 years old. It shows great, however, when you get close there are a few dings and chips and some checking starting on the flat surfaces. There are some dings in some of the brightwork and some minor pitting on some of the trim. We thought about replacing a few things and decided that would take away from the survivorship of this car.
