1959 Ford Galaxie

A true time capsule with only 36,XXX actual miles from new as documented on a good clean PA title.

Finished in the correct factory original color of Cameo Ivory (code E) with three tone (red/white/black) interior (code 56). Additional mileage verification can be found with oil change stickers in the drivers door jambs with mileage indicated in 1959, 1977, 1984, and 1989. We have gone all over this car and have found no paint lines and believe it to be finished in its original factory applied paint. Additionally, the interior and motor are 100% original to the car. It has the 292 V8 motor with 2 barrel carburetor, automatic on the column. All of the gauges work properly, the lights work in both high and low beam. The turn signals and the horn all work properly and car has been fitted with a new set of white wall radial tires for better drivability (the original bias ply tires were badly dry-rotted). The car has the original trunk mat and spare tires (although a new mat has been purchased and placed on top of the original).

The car runs and drives excellent and is very solid. The paint on the hood, roof and trunk have small dime-sized marks which we would attribute to the car sitting under a tree and getting sap on it that wasn't cleaned properly. Being original paint though we are hesitant about having it fixed - it still carries a nice shine!
